17th-25th

so from the 17th to the 25th i have been doing my one a day on paper..
which is depressing for you guys
but i have been out of town and everything in between.

things are tough. decisions are hard and hearts get broken
but i think it will be ok.

the soldier is back home...finally
and yet he seems to missing a part of him that he had 1 yr ago
i am just thankful he is here and alive
those things will fit back into place eventually

day 3 and 4.

oh goodness.i knew it was going to happen.

i missed a day already.

well i am making it up now.yay.

jan.15 was boring..

however today..

i woke up to news that the soldier is at a secondary base.

..the wonders of IM...

not the one he was stationed at orginally.

and is waiting for transport from there to here!!

ooo the excitement.

in other news i had a great evening with my beautiful

very funny sister.

we went to Cvs(if you dont have those..pharmacy)

and had a blast. she bought black girl hair products.

and found some soft kiwi.

and then came home to limbo are little hearts away.

(watch me watch me!!!...your not doing it right..gosh.limbo nazi.did she just say beaver)

and as limbo slowly faded..

chim-chim chiree .an orange mustache and DSL's

somehow came out.

oh the amazing times we have.

so after making the stained glass panels.

i have so many great ideas in my head.

travis and i worked steady through the night.

so if him and i had more time we could create AMAZING things.

im ready....i hope he is. scapel.please.assistant.

..365.day 2

yay i have made it to the 2nd day...wow.

so excited . the soldier should be on his way.

tonight was a quiet night of screaming and arguing.
overbullshit. however for once. i stayed out of it.

other then i did dinner with the family.
helped my dad alittle.
listened to some great i-pod-ness
and relaxed for the evening.

tonight i am lazy and its great.
but i think i am going to start a project.

evening yoga...here i come.

..good morning.day 1.

so this is day one of 365 days of journaling.
I am kinda excited because i have succeed in actually getting this far.ha
if you know me you know i have a busy mind and things get lost.alot.

The soldier is officially on his way home.
he will not take direct flight due to safety but...
it should now be around a week before he steps foot stateside.
its nice to have an actually date of when he should get home.
the army doesnt really like to commit.

Other then being super excited about the soldier.
I am broke and my sisters birthday is....today.
so in the efforts of not being cheap ..i have made her a wonderful gift.
She is constantly asking for things to decorate her house so today...
she will recieve art. And thankfully it didnt turn out looking cheesy and homemade.

Basically i made a mosaic pattern with stained glass on 2- 8"x 30" boards.
honestly...i want to keep it..well or make one for my house.
it seems much easier then it really is...very time consuming.
however very fun.

..three.sixty.five..

So i havent posted since november.
Because i suck and have been super busy.
Going out of town for Thanksgiving.
Dogsitting for Christmas.
And a little party party for New Years.
and all the junk in before inbetween and after.
However i did have some time to work in some inspiration.

Ali Edwards is like a scrapbooking and journaling queen.
As much as i would like to get into the scrapbooking part..
I never have time to sit down and think and focus.
But the journaling stuff does spark my interest.

I started a journal a year ago to write everything i would
have shared with my best friend who was in Afg.
Since my year is slowly approaching being over
which in no way am i sad about that because that means ..
my soldier is coming home.

However that means i need a new challenge.
so i am starting the 365 days journal.
For 365 days i will journal and take one picture
lets hope i can last throuhg it.
